I was looking through my gallery, doing a little re-organizing and editing, when I suddenly realized that my artwork has recently undergone a tremendous transformation.
As I had hoped, my Alliteration project- http://pinkbunnie.deviantart.com/journal/Alliteration-Project-354756907 -helped to improve my overall drawing skill and develop a consistent style, as well as to give me the confidence to pursue subject matter outside of my comfort zone.
Though I only completed 5 alliterations- I had intended to do the whole alphabet- they mark the beginning of my transitional period and turned out to be a valuable exercise.

If you're reading this and you're anything like me (especially you fellow Deviants), you might have been told you have a great talent and not to squander it by wasting time on anything that didn't directly contribute to building your career.
I allowed this state of mind to haunt me for a good many years through high school and until now, stressing and worrying how I would graduate from a decent college and fulfill myself by turning my passion into profit.
But when it came down to deciding whether to go off to college or marry the man I fell in love with, I realized something-
